Data Collection and Protection: The personal data collected comprises only your name, your address, a contact phone number and a valid email address, as required by the French Authorities. This only happens when you undertake one or more of the following:
Make a reservation using our online booking system
Send an email requesting accommodation
Telephone us to make an enquiry
You make a reservation via an authorised 3rd party agent e.g. Booking.com, Expedia.com or any of their affiliates.
Use of any personal information provided
Unsolicited emails regarding applications for employment
We ask only for the required information needed to make a reservation.
Any information provided to us is accessable only by the proprietor and her direct employees
We will only ask for the details required to make a reservation, if we are unable to provide accommodation no data is stored
If you make a reservation via a third party, any information provided to them is subject to their GDPS. We treat any information provided to us in the same way as if you have contacted us direct.
We only use your personal information to enable us to offer accomodation to you or those people staying here. Under no circumstances is this passed to a 3rd party, except the regulatory authorities with a validated request, unless you have provided us with specific authority to do so.
Any unsolicited emails of this type are deleted on reception and therefore no information is stored by us
Information storage duration: We will only keep your information for as long as our statutory duty requires us to, plus up to 6 months.
Reservation Terms and Conditions
Reservations may be made by one of the following methods:
Using our online booking system.
Via Telephone or email
In person
Use of our online partners, i.e. Booking.com or Expedia and their subsidiaries or affiliates
Cancellations or non arrival
You may cancel without charge up to 48 hours before your scheduled check-in. After this time you will be charged in full for the first night.
Failure to arrive, without prior notification. You will be charged for the entire duration of your reservation
Check-in and Check Out Times
Our Check-in times are 17.30 -21.30 daily. Any arrivals, an arrival is deemed to be an attempt to enter the property i.e. opening the front door or ringing the doorbell, outside these hours will be subject to a 30€ supplement. If you wish to arrive earlier or later than these it must be agreed, by the owner or one of her colleagues, before your arrival.
Check-out times are between 07.00 and 10.30. Outside these hours must be agreed by the owner or one of her employees and may be suject to additional fees. Late Check-out fees are 30.00€ up to 12.30. After this time you will be charged the full daily rate.
Damage to the property or contents.
We request that any damage is reported to us before your departure. If deemed to be accidental then this will be taken into consideration and is unlikely to be charged for. Any damage deemed to be deliberate or as a result of items not meant to be handled or moved by guests being damaged will be charged for.
Removal of items without the owner’s permission
This will be regarded as theft and will be charged for or reported to the Gendarmes
Departure without payment
This again will be regarded as theft and will be reported to the Gendarmes, alternatively we will use debt recovery agents and will pass on any costs involved to you
